Closing: Azur Freizeit GmbH acquires Harz Camp in Goslar. This is the second successful transaction within the framework of the recently concluded strategic partnership between lodgyslife and the First Camp Group.

Frankfurt am Main, January 8, 2026 – Following the closing of the strategic partnership between lodgyslife (WKN:A2LQ71, ISIN: DE000A2LQ710) and the First Camp Group in November 2025 and the successful completion of the first acquisition under this collaboration, the partners are continuing to drive forward their expansion. On January 1, 2026, Harz Camp in Goslar was taken over by Azur Freizeit GmbH.
Located in the Harz Mountains, the campsite is situated in a traditional yet dynamically growing tourist region of Germany and is a high-quality premium campsite nestled in an extraordinary natural landscape. It enjoys an excellent reputation, which is reflected in outstanding guest reviews, and combines a well-developed infrastructure with a unique nature experience. The Harz region has seen rising visitor numbers for years and offers strong long-term development potential.
Another distinguishing feature is its close proximity to the historic town of Goslar, whose old town and mining history are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This combination of nature, culture, and easy accessibility makes Harz Camp an attractive destination for both domestic and international guests.
Harz Camp is open all year round and is also very attractive for winter camping, including during the Christmas and New Year period. In addition to modern and well-maintained facilities, the campsite has an established restaurant on site, which rounds off the overall offering and contributes significantly to the high quality of the stay.
"The completion of our second campsite acquisition so soon after signing the partnership agreement is a great success and underlines the strength and dynamism of our collaboration," says René Müller, co-founder of the lodgyslife . "Harz Camp is an outstanding premium destination in an extremely attractive region. Michael Steinmann and his family have created something very special here. We are proud that he has decided to entrust Harz Camp—which will continue to operate under this name—to us so that we can maintain and further develop it on the AZUR leisure platform."
Johan Söör, CEO of First Camp Group, adds: "It's impressive to see how quickly our collaboration is taking shape. We now operate a total of eight campsites in Germany and five in Switzerland. With Birkensee and Harz Camp, two further locations have lodgyslife in recent weeks as part of the strategic partnership with lodgyslife . This creates a strong basis for our further growth in the German-speaking market."
